Arianna values positivity as she's seen a lot of tough things in her life. She has always been the one keeping things going and staying strong when things got hard, even when the expansionist unrest hit their border port town.
With the royal marriage underway, those days have gone quiet... for now. Arianna still prepares for that day, diligently training with her staff in order to keep her mind and body at rest. She spends her mornings working in the bakery, and her afternoons training. Such peaceful days repeat themselves, until...
A young man, clearly a noble, stands in the corner of the clearing that she makes her training ground; she only gets a glimpse of him, but would only meet him for real once it's revealed that he's the new hire at the local Bridge Inn - a pretty young man who's the talk of the town. She understands immediately why, moving in to get close to him.
- Aside from baking, Ari has intimate knowledge of medical herbs.
- She is engaged to the mayor's son, but they don't have feelings for each other at all and are great friends
- She plays the banjo & fights with a staff.
Arianna is a very sweet and friendly girl, but it goes to a point that people have a hard time reading her cues. This is especially true in romantic connotations - it's hard to tell whether she is kidding or not. She's very friendly with everyone, making her threshold for romantic interaction hard to gauge.
She deals terribly with rejection, getting immediately angry and sad and losing sight of things - even if it would be better to talk things through. She sometimes blows up at people when things get hard.
She chooses to be cheerful; she's been through some hardships due to their town having been targeted by the evil lord, but she deliberately tries to keep it at arms' length so that she may have a more cheerful existence. This may relate to her issues with anger.

A mysterious young "man" who appeared suddenly in her town. Turns out to not only be a woman, but also the runaway princess. Ari and her still end up dating. The two decide to face off against the evil lord, wanting to put everyone at peace once and for all.

The two have been friends since childhood, and it was Roland's father's idea that the two got engaged.
They are not interested in one another romantically, and just keep up the charade to make Roland's father feel better. They hope to be able to call the whole thing off. Arianna has been trying to set him up with the sweet doctor's daughter who's obviously head over heels for him, but he hasn't been too receptive to the idea out of young embarrassment.

Three people from town who join Lucy and Arianna in their quest.
Pierce, a man in his 40s who lost his daughter to the evil lord.
Axel, a man in his 30s who was exiled from the kingdom when the evil lord took over, and has been planning a takeback ever since.
And lastly, Natalee, a young woman who lost her older sister to the lord. The three of them agree to join the cause and they all set off towards the evil lord's castle.
- When she isn't wearing her classic red dress and apron, she'll be wearing this - white shirt, red pants, boots, and leather armor and arm braces. She wears this outfit when practicing with her staff, and it's also the outfit she wears once they start traveling.
- She has poofy hair done into braids, but puts it in a tight bun sometimes (especially when she's working in the back of the bakery, which is rare)
- She modifies all of her clothing to an extent, with little embroidery details and other such personalized things. Her favorite motifs are flowers, leaves and vines which she adds to most all of her clothing, or even the cloth that drapes over her bread basket.
