"Little miss sunshine" has been Poppy's nickname for as long as she can remember. Though it even stuck out in her adulthood, the truth is that she is not so little anymore, and in her adult life, she has found one passion above all - music.
Her natural charisma seems to draw people in whenever she stops to perform, but like so many others, she has been struggling very hard to get noticed.
One day, Poppy's routine is interrupted when a certain handsome blonde makes their entrance into her life when she inelegantly introduces herself via body slam and falls on her ass. From then on, her life starts to truly get interesting...

Poppy is, from the inside out, a complete bundle of positivity. She is well-known amongst the music-loving populace as the shining sun of their little area. While her skill is somewhat lacking behind, she makes up for it largely due to raw appeal.
If there was anything to be said for her negative traits, perhaps one may say that she is a little too tunnel-visioned when it comes to her goals. She often neglects herself in pursuit of what's important to her. She is also often inattentive to her own needs.

A slightly older person that Poppy meets by first bumping into them, quite literally speaking. She quickly discovers that they, too, are a musician, but for some reason they refuse to play?
Before she is even able to understand it herself, she's drawn to them. Perhaps as a fellow performer, or unexpectedly, as a romantic prospect?
Basil seems to keep her, not to mention everyone else, at arm's length, though. It only draws her in further.

The older woman who owns the music bar at which Poppy is part-timing. With Poppy's family as far away as they are, she's taken pity on the girl.
She fashions herself a bit of a caretaker of the young woman, supporting her in her dream to become a musician. She often has to remind Poppy not to overdo things, but it's hard to wrangle her to get her to listen.
- True to her sunshine theme, Poppy is always bathed in the colors of the sunset. She particularly favors red and yellow, with some pink splashed in there.
- You will rarely find her out and about without her guitar case, swung effortlessly over one shoulder despite its weight. The case itself is custom-made to have that gradient, and she has a color-matched guitar pick that is shaped like a heart.
- No matter the season Poppy really enjoys showing off her tummy. It's just part of her fashion preference. She also likes oversized jackets and fluffy clothes in general. She almost always has her hair up, as it makes for more convenient playing.
