Rikako Tokugawa (徳川莉華子)
“S-smoking is bad for you! You’re like, my age, it’s going to impact your health…” Rikako blurted out as she looked at him sternly; at least, she assumed that he was around her age. Up close, he had this youthful vibe. They were only 18! He shouldn’t be doing that.
Rikako already struggles socially, so when she moves after summer vacation to go to a new school until spring, she is not happy. Having just turned 18 months prior, she's been struggling coming to terms with the idea she's more or less the age of majority now.
And just her luck, when on the Friday before the new school week, she finds herself completely lost on the way home, as afternoon turns to night, when she comes upon a strange live house.
Inside, the crowd is going crazy, and she finds herself immediately falling for the performer on stage, drawn in by "his" charm, a complete culture shock for her new city life. He helps her home, revealing they're about the same age.
And who does she meet in her Monday class but that fateful encounter? Haruka Ichijou, youngest of the Ichijou family, one of the most prestigious names around their parts. She can't believe the mess she's gotten herself in...
Rikako is, at her core, a pretty shy girl. She's always struggled to make friends easily, especially when she is left to take the initative. The few friends she managed to make before moving were a struggle, and now, she feels all alone.
She has a somewhat naive outlook on the world - this manifests mostly in her adherence to "rules", and it's gotten especially strong after turning 18. Now that she's "big", an "adult", she feels even more strongly that she has to be "good". Deep within, deeper than even she can reach, there is a desire to go break some rules, but she herself is not aware of it.
( classmate, crush )
The ace and de-facto "prince" of the school's drama club, Haruka is secretly (perhaps not-so-secretly) a total bad boy, causing loads of trouble for his tight-assed, old money family.
It's generally expected that Haruka's probably going to enter a relationship with the drama club "princess", a girl Haruka has zero interest in, and who also has no idea that Haruka is not a man.
Going outside at night and doing street performance and putting on shows at live houses is exactly the kind of thing Haruka feels right doing.
