Willow
"Loyalty? That's a funny word to use. I never held much loyalty for those old farts. I only believe in myself. And my beloved little brother."
Willow was the third of what was soon to be many, many clones. Their first batch of 10 was not so lucky though - only her, and her younger brother Aspen, number VII, survived. The two of them therefore built a strong bond.
The first batch of clones couldn't withstand the training, but because Willow and Aspen managed it, they are remarkably dangerous, even if it is suspected that they will get overpowered at some point - mainly because they rely on each other for that strength.
When the two get a job to try and secure a couple runaways, Willow starts to wonder if they've been sent on a deliberate suicide mission...
Willow was always considered the wild card in the group of clones, even when the rest of their batch still remained. She is remarkably chaotic and contrarian, but smart enough not to let it get her killed. She had been kept on board for her cunning and ability to use her wit to get her and Aspen out of situations.
She holds no warm feelings for the scientists that treated them like robots, but there is just one person she cares about; Aspen, her brother. She treats him with love and care, and the two of them are always there for each other. She is remarkably cold to people who aren't her brother, calm to the point of unsettling serenity.
( brother )
Willow's identical clone and twin brother. She calls him her "little brother" because she is higher up on the number list than he was, with her being III and him being VII.
They have been close from the start but especially when the rest of the clones in their generation died, the two of them had to stick together to survive. They are both aware that their time in the organisation is limited - once their follow-up generations are strong enough, they will be obsolete.
Willow is determined to protect Aspen from such a fate.
( target, eventual adoptive parent? )
One of the people that Aspen and Willow has been tasked with chasing down. All they know is that she took the Ice Maiden and ran with her.
The twins are about ready to defect, though, and once they realize that Dina hates the organisation just as much as they do, they end up allying themselves with her.
( target, evnetual adoptive sibling? )
Eve is disparagingly known as the "ice maiden" in the organisation, and that's all Willow and Aspen were ever told; they don't get much information as they are considered pretty low on the ladder as their younger clones take over.
They know she is dangerous, and when they get the missive to "eliminate" her, it's obvious that the plan is for them to get caught up in her ice storm and perish.
