As a venerable angel alumni, Yomi takes his new job as human overseer very seriously. That is, until they get situated in their earthly living quarters only to find out that their assigned town is the most boring place ever - nothing happens!
So here they are, him and his best friend Sam, with no work to do, and a bunch of time on their hands.
Things that hadn't been talked about before seems to bubble to the surface, and their friendship struggles to maintain normalcy when certain feelings start to become apparent.

- Yomi is a talented artist.
In many meanings of the word, Yomiel can be reserved with the people around him. This is something that Sam has encouraged him to try and get out of, but at the end of the day, he's just fine when it's the two of them.
He can be a bit of a stickler for rules, wanting to keep everything in order and control. When he gets stuck without much to do, he has a tendency to become a little stir-crazy. He needs something to do with his time or he'll just pass out from boredom.

Yomi's best friend since middle school. The two of them have always been able to tell the other anything, so when he came out as a guy Sam was the first to know.
He was also the person responsible for encouraging Yomi to be himself in general, including wearing the fashion he most liked. They make it a habit to always go shopping together and it's become a huge part of their friendship to find clothes for each other (and also sharing clothes)
Yomi has a lingering crush on him, but when they were at arms' length while in school, it was easier to ignore. Now that they're under the same roof 24/7... things are very different.
- As for body features, Yomi has feathered ears and wings floating behind his back. He also has several beauty marks on his face and collarbone area. He also has scars from top surgery (not depicted).
- Yomi's main character color is blue, but because he swaps with Sam a lot, he also wears a lot of pink. Generally they wear each other's clothes a lot.
- He likes to wear anything that's cute. Dresses, shorts, skirts, etc. anything as long as it's pastel. He enjoys wearing colorful nail polish and even makeup as well, sometimes, and it's rare you will find him in anything but the cutest outfits he can find. He loves to wear his long hair up in various hairstyles, but generally favors pigtails.
