For over 15 long years, Yuina Takenashi has been the manager of a hostess club in the entertainment district. She's a bit of a maternal type by instinct, and the hostesses and other staff all love her.
She became friends with Arashi through the woman visiting the club and the two of them hitting it off over the bar. She feels a bit protective of her, not in the same way as the girls, but simply that she can't stand by and watch while Arashi gets herself into deeper and deeper shit.
Having not been a lesbian for most of her life, Yuina has been hesitant to re-enter dating life after her divorce a decade prior, but she has to acknowledge that she is drawn to Arashi in ways that she hasn't been to anyone else, despite the strange way their friendship began.

Yuina is very reserved at her core, which was what landed her in her first, failed marriage in the first place. But the one thing she could never give up was always her work as a hostess, and later a manager, which was part of what led to her divorce in the first place.
Perhaps she feels too old to date, or perhaps she just feels like she isn't ready yet, but she has not been actively searching for a partner since the divorce. She has a hard time opening up to people.

They met about six-seven years prior, when Arashi had come to the club. She was immediately popular with the girls in the club and she would become a regular.
Yuina recalls many pleasant conversations had with her, despite her explosive relationships with the girlfriends that would sometimes join her on club outings.
She finds herself liking Arashi a little more than a friend, but also knows that the two of them stand little chance together. Or so she thought...
- Yuina is most often in her daily outfits she wears at the bar - a party dress, usually red, pink or orange, showing a great amount of skin. She's been used to it for most of her career and now it doesn't feel right if she isn't wearing it. She often wears those simple, signature heels which is her most comfortable type of shoe from having worn them for so long.
- She keeps her hair short because she's always struggled to grow it and now has given up entirely. This is also why she admires Arashi's hair and wants to touch it all the time, because she never had the chance to grow it herself. She likes keeping the styling simple and practical so it's easy to do consistently for work.
- She has some visible beauty marks on her thighs and her face. She almost always wears nail polish on her fingers and toes, and is rarely seen without makeup while at work. She usually doesn't wear any at home, though, opting to let that be her relaxation time where she can just be comfortable and not have to worry, but she still inherently wears stylish outfits, even at home, like a proper fashionista.
