Cameron
"Well, you know... being with you is comfortable. It's almost like we've been living together for these past few months. I want to keep doing that."
Cameron has always been a little unlucky in her love life, right from the very early days, of not knowing she was bi, and how that affected her. When she finally thinks, here I have found a partner, a guy who understands me, things go downhill once again.
Somehow, she ends up close with his now former best friend, Monica. A woman more beautiful than Cameron could put into words. The two of them end up way closer than expected, and Cameron finds herself wondering - is she able to put aside her fears and try again?
Cameron, for the most part, has a rather gloomy disposition, but it's mostly just the state of her face. This has created some barriers meeting new people, with her unable to form good friendships due to first impressions going really badly.
She keeps mostly to herself, and this has an issue of creating co-dependency in her romantic relationships - she basically ends up hanging out with her partner and no one else. When she meets Monica, however, this changes significantly for the better, with Monica helping erode some of that barrier between her and other people.
( friend, eventual crush )
Cameron meets her through her then-boyfriend, and the two of them hit it off; in fact, most of the time, they got along better than he and Monica ever seem to. In the end, when it comes time for them to break up, Monica ends up choosing her.
This obviously had to do with the messy break-up, but Cameron can't help but feel hopefuly - does this mean that Monica might want her? She barely dares consider it.
