Monica is just your regular girl, currently studying to become a bioengineer. One may find this strange, given her extremely feminine presentation, but she is happily following in her mother's footsteps.
She meets Cameron, a history major two years below her, through her best friend, who was dating her at the time. Now that Monica is in the graduate program, he's out of the picture, and she suddenly has Cameron all to herself. Will she allow her feelings to come out?

Monica is a steadfast person and extremely nice. Sometimes, to a fault. However, she has her limits, and will not hesitate to cut people off for specific things. Especially if they do something bad to her or a friend.
She can always be heard humming to herself when she's enjoying her hobbies, and she has a tendency to attract a lot of friends who just want to spend time with her. Despite this, she is very insecure about her deepmost thoughts, and she is extremely shy in romantic situations.

Cameron was the partner of Monica's best friend for a while, but eventually the two of them break up due to a rather stupid incident that shows his true personality.
Monica supports her through it, and wonders if her own growing feelings are morally reprehensible - Cameron just got out of a relationship, after all. Having feelings for her would be rather presumptuous to think it went anywhere.
- Monica's style is mainly inspired by various subsets of gyaru fashion. Mainly agejo. The focus was to give her some crazy leopard print, and a bunch of pink and/or orange and/or red to really give her design some pow. It's the first time I've tried to give a character some proper makeup as well.
- She has rather sensitive eyes, and often have sunglasses either in a hand bag or on her head like depicted. She also likes gold jewelry, and almost always wears some kind of press-on nails. She favors this type because she often needs to have short nails when she works for her degree; it's a way for her to do fashion and at the same time have the ability to show up for lab.
- She almost always seems to have a set of clothes prepared for everything. It's not that she has a huge wardrobe, but she is very critical about which items that get to go in and which don't. This way, it makes it seem like she always has a coordinated outfit for occassions - which is the truth - but really, it's the versatility of the clothes she buys that helps create such a cohesive style to her outfits.
