"What brings you here, child of man?"
The forest of illusions is but an urban legend - it is said that a fearsome forest hag will come to snatch you up and kill you.
The reality is much different. Cassandra (as humans call her) is the creator of the Forest, where no humans shall tread. She is the god of magic, and humans have been abducting the "Uclians", as named by humans, spirit-like creatures that harbor magic.
For many years, they had been exploited and tortured for the sake of powering human technology, and Cassandra decided that enough was enough. She had to do it the hard way.
The illusory forest holds the habitat of the creatures of magic, and she has taken it upon herself to return them to their own world, no matter the method.
Stoic would be one way to describe Cassandra - she is rather emotionless from a human perspective, and most of that has to do with the fact that she has no reason or desire to learn of any human "customs" of how one should behave.
She is remarkably calm at all times, knowing that she has had to bury many things in order to save the magic in the world. It is all she appears to care about.
There is an element of curiosity in her, and Flavia serves to really bring that into overdrive, particularly with her strange situation. If it regards magic, you can count on Cassandra's interest.
( eventual lover )
The only human to have ever made their way inside the Forest of Illusions without being invited in; frankly, Cassandra is fascinated by her.
Part of her also feels a deep anger for the cruelty that Flav's existence proves - that humans are willing to torture even their own in the pursuit of power.
Flavia ends up staying in the forest with Cassandra, and the two of them form a connection.
