Samael
"Oh come on, it's a good thing not to have anything to do! That just means that the humans are doing well, and we can do whatever we like!"
Easy-going and friendly, it was always pretty easy for Sam to make friends. Still, one of these friends became immediately the most important one - his best friend, Yomiel. They've been friends since middle school, and Sam trusts him with just about anything.
Moving in together should just have been the ideal situation for their new situation as fellow overseers, but instead it turns into a bit of a nightmare when Sam has to contend with his long-time crush on the guy that he is currently sharing a roof with.
You'd think that their lack of stuff to do would make their life so much easier, but instead the amount of time they spend together brings to the surface how unbearable these feelings are...
Sam's easy-going nature is often a bonus for him, being able to deal with things without panic and taking things slowly; but this isn't as easy when the feelings he experiences are anything BUT light.
He's a huge idiot in love and struggles with just about any courting to speak of, making a fool of himself in the process. He paints over it with his gentle and friendly nature, hoping that the anxiety and nervousness he's feeling inside won't be so obvious.
( best friend/roommate/crush )
Sam's best friend since middle school. They currently live in the same house as overseers, spending most waking moments together.
Yomi has basically been his crush for several years, and he had thought to ignore it, worried that he's just not good enough, or that it would put a wrench in their friendship.
His determination to ignore this is thoroughly tested and eventually broken when the two of them live together under the same roof.
