Nadine's standards have always been particularly high. Perhaps, she comes across as frivolous and vain for the care she puts into her appearance, but to her it's just natural to do.
The first person to truly understand her was Charlotte; while she would often get propositioned by other women, this one stood out. The two of them entered their poly partnership and have been together for over a decade. You'd think their personalities would not jive, but it's the opposite. They are so in sync it's kind of scary sometimes.
So in sync in fact that they fall in love at around the same time, and with the same person - their beloved "prince", Emerald. The Emerald who is selflessly pretending to be a man, ruining her own life for the sake of a dear friend. Nadine and Charlotte are incredibly smitten with her.

This is a frustrating dichotomy - she seems like a player, which does not often attract women who are serious, and the cycle continues. With Charlotte, it was different, but since then, any romantic pursuits have been... unfulfilling. She finds something to truly obsess over when they are assigned to the prince, and Emerald is just... irresistible.

Nadine's long-term partner and fellow knight protecting Emerald. Nadine has always found everything about this woman gorgeous, but especially her beautiful, burning eyes of ice. She loves the mix of hot and cold.
The two are together in everything, and this includes pursuing Emerald's affections; when Charlotte comes to her one night to confess that she wants to pursue Emerald, Nadine is immediately with her - this is something that they both want.

The lord that Nadine is currently serving as a retainer; Nadine finds her incredibly adorable, especially getting a kick out of annoying her and seeing her get pissed. It's like a drug.
It doesn't take long before she notices that Charlotte seems to be eyeing her too, and what would you know, she is. The two of them decide to singlemindedly pursue the prince, in hopes of adding a third to their partnership.
- She puts great care into her appearance, including styling her uniform; she has added the bow on her chest and her boots herself, to really enhance the look. Same can be said for the gemstone in her ear and in her belt. She is never seen without these gems, and it's generally rumoured that she got them from a lover - Charlotte, obviously.
- She wears the royal insignia on her bow as customary for the knights, and her uniform is very standard aside from additions; they are able to choose whatever colors they want, since there are other factors denoting their rank.
- She is extremely popular with both genders, but more so with girls than with boys. They speak of her beautiful, deep eyes, like amethysts, and her long, flowing hair, always curled to perfection, looking soft to the touch. The number of girls who want to be in her arms are unnumbered.
